The Tab will be hosting a Gentleman’s Breakfast on Saturday 9th June, commencing 9.30am.  It is anticipated that it will conclude approx 11am.  The guest speaker will be Wales most capped hooker, Garin Jenkins. Come and enjoy this time of fellowship, which is free of charge. We look forward to seeing you.

“When I look back I know that God has been with me all my life. People will say, ‘You’ve worked hard, you’ve got good determination’, but I know that God has really helped me and blessed me with all the positive things in my life. I feel so blessed that God has shown me so much grace over the years.”

People may say, “Garin has gone all religious!”  “I’m not into religion. I have a real faith and a relationship with my saviour Jesus Christ. We can look back and think the best years are behind, but living with Jesus the best is yet to come!”

Prayer meeting moved to Monday

The Tab weekly prayer meeting has now moved to Monday at 10.15am.  It is hoped that this will prove more convenient and allow more people to attend. So if you are available for 20 mins or 70 minutes is not an issue, we would love to see you attend whenever you are free.

Sunday 13th May saw the annual visit from Victory Outreach UK, and the congregation were truly blessed by the testimonies of those in individuals in attendance who had been freed from the chains of addictions and seemingly hopeless situations.  But God turned their lives around and had a plan for them, as he does for all who cry out to him.  May Victory Outreach continue to deliver in the locality and change lives. Should anyone require further information about the work it does or to support it financially further details can be found at http://www.vouk.org.uk

Important Ministries need Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers to fulfil some important tasks. Here are a list of some of these important ministries so that you can start thinking and praying about which ones, if any, you could help out with:

  • Sick Visiting Teams
  • Newsletter Editor(s)
  • Congregational Federation Correspondent(s) – Volunteers to write regular articles for the Congregationalist, Family News etc about life at Tab
  • Service Conveners – Volunteers to convene at normal Sunday Services

As well as these exciting opportunities to serve we also have a Tuesday night Girls Club (Little GEM’S) from 6pm to 7.15p.m which are always looking for helpers. Even if you can only help out occassionally or for part of the time your help would be greatly appreciated. Please prayerfully consider all of these ministries and seriously consider if you can help in anyway.

God Bless

Connect: Silver Surfers Growth

The Monday 1p.m. – 4p.m. Connect: Silver Surfers has grown rapidly over the last month and keeps attracting new interest. Having catered for up to 18 surfers in one session the project is proving to be a real winner. The project needs your prayers as the demand has led to a stretch of human resources and any help or ideas would be greatly recieved. If you know of anyone in the area who is available any Monday afternoon who could help in teaching basic IT and Technology then please point them in our direction. The Thursday 4p.m. – 7p.m. is a gentler affair with about half a dozen regulars and is ticking over well. It is thrilling to see many people connecting on so many levels. The classes break now for half-term but will recommence on Monday 28th February. 01633 895407.
